What is your typical pricing and how do I go about getting this information?
AABS prices on a per project basis, we rarely get the same specs and location to be able to just quote a standard price.
What is the difference between All American Building Systems and All American Homes?
All American Homes and All American Building Systems are sister companies owned
by Coachmen Industries (NYSE - COA).
All American Building Systems solely works on larger more complex projects with Owners, Developers, Non-Profit Agencies, and Government Agencies. All American Homes tends to work with scattered lot builders who own model centers and sell single family homes to retail buyers.
Can you build from my plans?
Typically, AABS can redesign your plans and engineer them to be constructed in a
modular fashion. However, not all plans are conducive to modular building. AABS
can review your plans to determine the viability of building the design in
modules.
What is the largest/smallest project you can build?
AABS will work with customers that have 10 or more living units either single family or multi-family. Since we work within a network of 7 manufacturing plants throughout the U.S. we have the capability to handle hundreds of living units per project.
Do you do "Turn Key"?
Yes, AABS has the capability to handle either the entire project or segments of a project, depending on your needs, location and size of project.
Do you offer payment terms?
AABS is paid C.O.D. for the modules when they are delivered to the site. A deposit of 20% is required prior to starting modular construction. Traditional construction draws are utilized for payment of on-site construction finish work (MEP connections, finish work, flooring installations, etc.)
Do you offer financing?
No, the financing portion of any project is dependant on the owner/investor.
What is my expected constrution time compared to site built?
Modular construction methods typically reduce total construction time by 30% to
50% depending upon the size and complexity
of the project.
What codes do you build to?
All American Building Systems builds to the same local codes traditional site
builders adhere to. Examples of such codes include:
IBC, IRC, NEC, and NFRA
How far do you transport modules?
AABS has the ability to deliver to: East Coast, South East Cost, Southern, Mid West, Central and some Western States. We do not ship into the West Coast States.
